Elegant vintage collectible mid century gold toned powder compact. Piece has a Josiah Wedgewood blue and white cameo porcelain lid featuring the goddess Aurora driving her chariot across the morning sky. Compact base is gold toned with a star pattern.
Compact is queen shaped and measures 3 inches tall x 3 inches wide. Marked "Stratton Made in England" and manufactured during the 1950s.
Compact has unique design work with superb quality. Piece has the original powder sifter and a mirror in pristine condition. There is a label which explains how to open and close the mirror correctly. All hinges and catches are in good working order. In flawless condition with nothing missing, damaged, or broken.
